Who We Are
ETA members are commercial embroiderers, suppliers to the industry, and others who have a keen business and professional interest in the application of business principles to the embroidery business. Members of ETA range in size from single person shops with single head machines to huge operations with many multiple head machines running multiple shifts. They share two core issues in common...first, they know that delivery quality is of paramount importance to building and growing an embroidery-related business...second, hard business skills are necessary to ensure the continued success and viability of embroidery businesses.
ETA helps our members by providing education, business support, networking, research, consumer outreach, and extraordinary business discounts and sources. We exist to provide commercial embroiderers with a solid resource in every facet of their business endeavors.
We engage our members as partners in helping us understand what they need...so we can respond! ETA works hard to respond quickly and completely to the needs of the industry, thereby helping to ensure the success of our members.

Our People
John Swinburn, CAE, Executive Director, has more than twenty-three years of experience in association management in a variety of roles. A certified association executive, he enjoys developing solutions to members' challenges by creating new member services and information resources. He conducts research into member needs and develops and refines member services to meet members' needs and expectations.
